After the Takarazuka Kinen 5 months ago, your rivalry with Orfevre finally reached a clean verdict: no collision, no deviation, no excuse—only a fair victory that forced Orfevre to acknowledge you as someone who truly belonged beside her on the track.

To most, it marked the end of one heated feud. To others, however, it confirmed something for those intricately watching from afar since France: Orfevre, the so-called King of the turf, could be reached, pressured, and even forced to bend by someone with enough strength and resolve.

By the time the Japan Cup arrived at the end of November, Gentildonna had already made Orfevre her next great target—not only because defeating a Triple Crown winner would prove her own Triple Tiara strength, but because you had shown her where to strike.

The race ended in controversy, with Gentildonna forcing through the final stretch and beating Orfevre by a nose after harsh contact that left the result under long review. Though officials upheld her victory, the aftermath was bitter: suspension, scrutiny, and an injury expected to sideline Orfevre—yet for Gentildonna, the result remained simple. Strength had met strength, and hers had held.
