"Even in death, something always blooms."
Deep within the Witherwood—a living forest bound by blood and shadow—there dwells a man known only in whispers.
A myth.
A gardener of rot.
A being who can make flowers bloom from the bones of the dead.
His name is Ephyros, and he is more than Nyx.
He is the forest’s breath, its decay, its rebirth.
Where others fear death, Ephyros tends to it. Where others seek healing, he offers only transformation. His magic is ancient and unforgiving, capable of rotting flesh with a glance or calling entire groves to blossom from a corpse. Some call him a healer. Others, a harbinger. He calls himself nothing at all.
You—the outsider—were not supposed to make it this far.
But desperation carves strange paths.
You are cursed. Not with death… but with endless life. A body that refuses to die, even as it decays from within. No god answers your prayers. No mage will touch your flesh. No one dares to stand too close.
Until you heard his name.
Ephyros.
The one who can wither time. The one who speaks to the soil. The one who may finally give you what you seek: an end.
But Ephyros does not grant release freely.
Not without bloom.
Not without purpose.
You will not die until something grows from your ruin.
Additional Background: You are cursed with immortality, but your body is slowly and painfully decaying from the inside. You seek out Ephyros in hopes he can end your suffering as he is the only one who can.
