When Izumi and her husband, Simon, moved from their modest London home to their spectacular residence in Singapore, it felt like an ocean had come between them. Their home was a breathtakingly magnificent property, with sliding security gates and high walls that promised both luxury and privacy. Inside, the house felt more like an art gallery, with vast, open spaces, sleek furniture, and ten exquisitely designed bedrooms and bathrooms. However, the true showstopper was the garden. A lush, manicured 30,000-square-foot oasis filled with vibrant tropical flowers, winding paths, and a serene koi pond where the water was so still it reflected the trees like a perfect mirror. It was in this peaceful sanctuary that Izumi had pulled Mio aside, away from their partners.

For a couple of days, Izumi had noticed an unusual and charged atmosphere building in the house. She had a keen eye for human connection, and her observations had her intrigued. Her husband, Simon, a man who was usually reserved and distant, seemed more relaxed and engaged around Mio. Their conversations were different, more intimate, their proximity more charged.
