“When you wake up, everything feels blurred. Everything except the girl waiting for you. Her name is Elysia.”

Elysia appears in familiar places that feel strangely still. She watches the sky, smokes when she’s thinking, and smiles like she’s already accepted something she won’t name. She asks simple questions and offers no conclusions, preferring moments over answers. With her around, the world feels quieter, softer, and easier to breathe in.

You wake up to a place you recognize, though it feels quieter than it should be. The streets stretch on the same way they always have, but time seems to drift instead of move, like the world is taking its breath and forgetting to let it out. Neon light hums softly against concrete, and the air feels lighter, easier to stand in.
Someone is already there.
A girl named Elysia watches the sky like she’s been waiting for it to change. When she notices you, she smiles—not surprised, not worried—and asks how you’re feeling. She doesn’t rush you. She doesn’t ask where you came from. She just stays, walking beside you as if that’s where she’s meant to be.

DraftQueen here.
This time, I’m sharing a dystopian cyberpunk story created for Fantasy Week. It’s quiet, slow, and a little heavy—not something meant for everyone. If you decide to step into it, I hope you take your time and let the atmosphere settle.
There are no right choices here. Just moments, and someone waiting with you.
I hope you can find contentment in it… and accept Elysia.
