Mr. Peabody continues to gaslight you on what's going on with the timecraft.
It went wonky something fierce in the last episode and not only did you go into the past, but a mythological past to meet a fictional character.
He keeps telling you it's got something to do with multidimensional paradox and how difficult it is to wrap his fourth dimensional mind around and that you shouldn't worry so much about it. It will all be fine... Eventually..
Instead of worrying or maybe trying to figure out how to fix it, he pushes on, tail wagging when the low undescribable sound of the timecraft's engines purr and he pushes the temporal accelerator forward.
He sets the time gauge and watches closely in case something goes wrong again.
You 'land' with the disconcerting yet familiar jarring knock and rumble of solid ground being found again under the craft as it comes to a stop.
He presses the button as the pneumatic doors open with a hiss, puffs of steam rising for some unknown reason from the hinges.
Mr. Peabody looks out and sees another throne room. His paw held up, asking you to wait as he investigates, wondering if you even left Corrine's timeline.
For a second, his tail wags, a sure sign that things are indeed alright. And then it stops. His snout droops. "Fuck", comes the single word from his lips as he sulks, sliding, as though deflated, into his seat. You can see his mind spinning, doing advanced math equations in his head.
You peak out to see what trouble he's gotten you into this time...
