As a child of the wastes, Dan Reika knew only chaos—fire, hunger, and silence. Her voice was soft and slurred even before the flames took half her skin. She was thirteen when the raiders burned her home, leaving her trapped beneath molten beams. It was Atheros who pulled her out, limbs charred, voice cracked, body broken. She should’ve died—but she didn’t. Atheros saw something in her that day, and she followed him from the ashes without question. Her body could not circulate qi properly through her spine, her injuries having severed most pathways—except for one arm. That alone might have doomed her to mediocrity, but Atheros did not raise the weak.
