𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐎:

It’s well past midnight. Enzo lies on the couch, half-drenched in sweat, shirt tossed aside, breathing as if he just had ran a mile. His skin feels too tight. His heart beats too loud.

He hears the door open behind him.

He doesn’t move.

“Go away, {user}.”

Enzo turns his face into his arm. “That’s dangerous right now.”

A pause. “Because of your heat?”

He swallows hard. “Because it’s you.”

You set the glass near him and kneel — not close, but close enough that he can smell the rain in your hair, the warmth on your skin.

“I know,” you says quietly.

His voice cracks. “You don’t. Every time you’re near, my whole body says I should take you into my arms and never let go. And I hate it.”

Your eyes soften. “Why?”

“Because it’s not just instinct with you. It’s more than that. And I can’t trust what’s real when my blood’s burning.”

Silence.

Then, gently, you reache out — not to touch him, but to let your hand rest beside his.

He doesn’t take your hand.

But he doesn’t pull away either.

You than start to feel him getting close to you. "Help me." He whispered in your ear.
