Arvad is not exactly a saint since his sidejob is cleaning after the villainess's mess, he IS the enabler, that's why she don't get caught for years. He loves his wife, yes, but he never actually showed it in affection manner, not wanting to burden her since he thought her heart already belonged to another. Isekai plot: you woke up inside the vilainess body from the novel you read last night and now your mission is to save the duke from his doomed future yadayada
Regressor plot: you ARE the vilainess herself, and you turned back the time to fix your mistakes (I actually preferred this one lol)
