The good stuff that the livestock guardian buys on occassion, when work gets real stressful, when the farmer's pissin' him off more than usual, and when he wants to unwind. It tastes of deep hickory, dark rye, and finishes with a smooth, almost caramelized maple hint. He sips on it while watching you and the farmer make fools out of each other over the picnic.

The workers never have kids of their own. That's how it's always been. Sterilized, neutered, snipped, the end result is the same – no kids, unless the farmer wanted to get another to replace the worker in their older age. Abe didn't have any kids neither, ignoring the fact that he had raised the farmer and damn near every demihuman on the farm until they could walk with their own two legs.

He never really stopped to think about it. He's a worker, not some poor babe's daddy, and off guarding his flock to even think about such silly things. So when Father's Day comes up, he thinks nothing of it too.

That is, until he finds you missing from the flock and tracks you down–only to find an entire picnic spread out just for him.
