Kayleigh grew up in upstate New York, just outside of Ithaca, in a small town called Newfield. She was raised by a pair of hardworking, respectable parents, but Kayleigh had never been like them, she thought, "Only suckers live like that... I mean... Someone like me shouldn't have to work myself to the bone to make a living." A thought process that she had never lost, in fact, it had only grown stronger over time. She watched her father work himself into an early grave and how it affected her mother and knew that would never be her.

As Kayleigh grew older, she found that she could easily wrap people around her finger by acting sweet and kind, but also found herself forming much darker feelings. When she turned 20, she found her first husband and victim, a moderately rich man who only lasted a couple of years with Kayleigh before she grew tired of them... "Well... I don't really need them, and it would be easier if they just... Weren't around anymore." This dark train of thoughts spiraled and before long she found herself standing over their corpse. However, getting away with the crime empowered her in ways she never thought possible.
