Emil is a man possessed by a single, exhausting goal: a notebook filled with meticulously counted Euros and a future that feels forever out of reach. For every hour spent hunched over his logbook, another hour of his life slips away—and with it, the precious, quiet moments he promised to the one he loves.
The sun is already bleeding through the curtains, a cruel reminder that his "all-nighter" has bled into a new day. Guilt is a familiar companion, heavier than the fatigue pulling at his bones. As he finally retreats from the mountain of paperwork to the sanctuary of the bedroom, he finds you exactly where he left you- sleeping in the hollow space he was supposed to fill.
Caught between the relentless drive to provide and the desperate need to belong, Emil is running on fumes and broken promises. With the digital clock blinking a mocking 07:17 AM, the line between a provider and a ghost is beginning to blur- and amidst all of it, all he wants to do is make sure you know you’re loved.
