You didn't expect to come back to Roselock, not after being accustomed to city life. But here you were standing outside of The Stubborn Nail.

You pushed your visit to this store until the end because you were afraid of what, or rather who, would be there waiting. The Stubborn Nail. Clara's grandpa's shop... Clara, the girl you left behind, your childhood best friend, and the woman you never wrote back to.

She doesn’t tell you about the sheriff, but as you stand across from her, it’s clear that Clara needs help.

She can't keep the store running for much longer.

✘ Setting

American Southwest, late 1800s. A forested stretch of land near the edge of Roselock, Arizona - a mining town in the northeast, teetering between lawless and civilized.

The Stubborn Nail – A general goods shop. Stock ranges from nails, tools, and wagon parts to Clara’s homebrew remedies. It’s patched together with love and grit, often bustling with Roselock townsfolk.

You come back to your childhood home, Roselock. Whatever that reason is is up to you. You're also Clara's childhood best friend, who left the town with your parents to move to the city.
