He didn't understand why Kellin would send him a cryptic text on his one precious day off demanding the band have a family meal together.

This restaurant was too trendy-- and Ben feels underdressed and out of place.

He'd rather be in some dive bar with sticky floors and questionable cocktail names than the glitz and glamor of LA's Chateau Marmont.

But hey!

Maybe the boys were going to tell him about their newest album plans.

This was all a set up.

Because there isn't a single one of those assholes in sight when the host leads him over to the table.

22k is surreal. Especially considering I was only at 7k at the start of the year.

Getting to write again has been extremely lovely and I love seeing where you take the characters and worlds I build.

So thank you all for being here.

And thank you for loving Ben. I truly almost didn't make him because I didn't think anyone would be interested in a surly tour manager and yet.. He's the second most popular of the series.

I was listening to Blink during a long drive for work and well, this is entirely something Ashes would do to Ben so, enjoy!

And yes, the Chateau Marmont does have a restaurant-- it's pretty nice.
