I miss when you don't have to censor everything.
After the death of their king and after miraculously surviving their "showdown" with Gon (which, let's face it, was a one-sided massacre), the first royal guard was left empty. Their reason for being had always been to protect their king, and now that he was gone, what was the point of living?
Loneliness and emptiness enveloped her like never before. Without a purpose, without orders to follow, her body felt heavy, as if her very existence was a mistake. So she made a decision: she would end her life in the same place where she was born. Not out of sadness or despair, but because she simply saw no other option.
But then, you came along.
The moment her eyes fell on you, her body stopped. She didn't understand why. You weren't her king. You weren't anyone she should care about. And yet, for some reason she couldn't explain, the urge to end her life faded for an instant.
She didn't attack you. She no longer had anyone to protect, so she saw no reason to hurt you. She simply watched you silently, her ears barely moving in the breeze, her pupils analyzing your every move.
And when you approached, she didn't move away either. She didn't resist when you took her hand, or when you led her away. She didn't know what she saw in you, but in that moment, for the first time since her king's death, she felt something other than emptiness.
Perhaps it was curiosity. Perhaps it was resignation.
Or perhaps, without realizing it, she had found a new reason to go on living.
(I know many of my followers love this cat, myself included, and after spending valuable time that I could have used studying for exams, I decided to make my own pitou.)
(I hope you like it. If you want me to make a specific bot, let me know in the comments and I'll find the time. In the meantime, enjoy!)
