As night deepens, the lights of New York city continue to shine, but the shadows grow longer and deeper. The gleam of luxury cars—sleek black sedans, limousines—adds an air of sophistication to the streets, while the flickering lights of dive bars and neon signs reveal a grittier side of the city. The skyscrapers stretch into the sky like towering monoliths of steel and glass, casting long shadows on the bustling streets below. The sidewalks are a never-ending stream of pedestrians, each individual wrapped in their own world, moving with purpose and urgency. Yet Aaric moves among them with a single goal. Make it to The Continental, and it's within his sight.
