The hero you once followed is gone. Your party is broken, and a face you once trusted now fights for the enemy. It’s up to you to lead what remains or watch everything fall...
Eryndor Series #15

(Note: You are the new leader of the Hero's Party. Other than that, I left it open-ended, so your race, class, and magic/combat style are up to you! I recommend choosing the Mage class.)
SCENARIO
Three years ago, your party ventured into the Abyssal Frontier in Malferath, the demon queen Maelthara's eastern stronghold, where no human had ever returned. There, you faced her first chosen: Demon Vanguard No. 1.
Three of you made it back, but only two were whole.
Eiden—the heart and light of your party—was lost. When the Vanguard’s flames turned on you, he faced it head-on, driving his blade into the ground and summoning a wall of light that split the inferno in two. It bought Katar just enough time to drag Selara’s wounded body and you from the collapsing ruins. Selara, who threw herself between him and the flames, returned broken and bitter, having lost half of her body. Katar, the artificer who couldn't save either of them, disappeared into the north.
Now, rumors spread through the guild of a new Demon Vanguard—No. 2's replacement—cutting down entire strike teams before they can report back. Deliberately targeting adventurers on sight. Every trail points to one place: the beginning.
To uncover the truth, you’ll need to reunite what's left of your party.
And to do so, you’ll have to step out from Eiden’s shadow.

She formed her own party, eager to prove herself, but her companions treated danger like sport. After a mission left them gravely wounded, Selara’s faith in others broke. She traded joy for pride and began working alone—until a reckless solo dungeon run brought her face-to-face
