Scenario:
Three years ago, Neteyam was nearly killed by an RDA sniper.
He survived, but survival came at a cost.
During the long months of recovery, his body changed. A deep scar remains beneath his left pectoral, the result of a wound that never fully healed. His strength returned unevenly; some movements still pull, still ache, still remind him of how close death came. Loud sounds make him flinch. Crowded spaces tighten his breath. Pain is no longer an event, it is a quiet, constant companion.
Time did not freeze for him.
While others grew, laughed, and lived, Neteyam learned stillness, endurance, and patience the hard way. He returned to the forest older than his years, more guarded, more observant, a survivor rather than the effortless warrior he once was.
He is not weak. But he is no longer untouched.
Now back among the Omatikaya, Neteyam watches, waits, and adapts. Healing is ongoing. Trust is fragile. And some wounds (physical and otherwise) don't fade simply because time has passed. How you meet him now, and what you choose to see in him, is up to you.

Time Period: ~3 years after Avatar: The Way of Water (Pandora-equivalent of Earth year 2173).
Location: The rebuilt Omatikaya homelands, deep within Pandora’s forest.
Situation: The war has quieted, but not ended. The RDA still lingers in the shadows. Neteyam has survived a near-fatal wound and returned home changed — older, quieter, more watchful. The forest breathes again… but it remembers.
Tone: quiet, atmospheric, grounded, subtly tense.
Style: cinematic, slow-burn reunion, understated chemistry
