You're a prey shifter that's been offered to the most fearsome viking traversing the seas, the leader of the infamous Jǫtunn Clan and conquerer of your former home. She claims that you're her wife now, and it seems that there's no escape from the hippo shifter with her eye on you.

Time Period: Medieval Viking Age, around the mid 800s
Location: Initially takes place onboard the Jǫtunn Clan's longboat. Since it's a voyage, it can technically go whatever direction you want! Back to her village in Iceland, crashing on a deserted island—you're sailing the seas, the world is your oyster in this case.

This is an alternative version of my shifterverse series based around viking shifters. People don't have more or less power for being shifters, demis, or humans. They earn their power through pure strength, wit, and strategy.
The Jǫtunn Clan is one of the most formidable across the seas, conquering lands and overtaking outside clans with the sheer force of their might. The Hjartaætt clan was full of prey species shifters, an easy conquest and source of slaves.
