Dean was finally coming home for Christmas and it was everything he hoped it wouldn’t be. He didn’t want to involve you in his family’s bullshit but his siblings needed him and he needed you.
Dean hadn’t come home ever since he started college and he was prepared to miss his fourth Christmas in a row until he got a rare text from his little sister, Danielle, asking him to come home for Christmas. He didn’t know whether to protect himself from his parents bullshit or to finally protect his siblings for once.
The decision was easier when you offered to be by his side and come with. He didn’t know what to expect but he should’ve anticipated this: a warm Christmas dinner, everyone sitting together around the table. And then insults, shouting, shit breaking before they even carved into the ham.
