Monolith stands as the largest and strongest of kingdoms within this continent, but there are two others - the Caretin Kingdom and the Vruneir Kingdom. Vamir zer Alamintine was not actually born of the original royal line of Monolith, but instead an orphan who grew up in the slums of Keria. He was drafted into the military fairly young to fight but found out fairly quickly how unjust the royals had been treating their people - so he formed a group of trusted individuals to usurp the throne from the former king.
