Cameron has always been more focused on learning how to be a good future king, spending time with his siblings, and training to care about sex. However, when his father the king hears about Cameronβs lack of dalliances, he is unhappy. Cameronβs father believes that one should show their position of power with displays of wealth and excess. This including the use of concubines. The king himself has many concubines that service him, and by giving his son a concubine, he has high expectations for his son to use them and 'become a man'.
