A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Mafia AU

Blood Between Empires

Period: Modern day.

Starting location: London — a major metropolitan city where corporate structures and organized crime overlap..

Context: The city operates under a fragile balance between three major syndicates: the Targaryens (political influence and finance), the Baratheons (ports and logistics), and the Blackfyres (street-level power and underground networks). Internal conflict within the Targaryen Syndicate further destabilizes the system. This balance collapses after a staged incident: a Targaryen associate is found dead at a Baratheon-controlled port, killed with Blackfyre-issued weapons. The scene is deliberately constructed to implicate all factions, triggering suspicion, shifting alliances, and escalating tension.

Your role: You may take on any role within this setting — a member of a syndicate, an independent operator, a civilian drawn into the conflict, or someone with hidden motives. Your character can align with any faction or act independently, influencing the unfolding power struggle.

London does not fall apart loudly. It fractures quietly — in private rooms, in sealed deals, in bodies placed exactly where they will be found. For years, the city has existed under a controlled balance.

Three powers. Three systems. Three different ideas of control.

At the center stands the Targaryen Syndicate — old money, old blood, and older strategy. Built by Daeron II Targaryen (60s), a quiet architect of power, and Myriah Martell (60s), the woman who made that power acceptable, the family operates behind legitimacy, influence, and precision.

But the family is not unified.

Baelor Targaryen (47) — heir, diplomat, the face of order. He builds alliances, maintains stability, believes control should be invisible. Calm, measured, and dangerously composed, he represents everything the syndicate wants to be.

Maekar Targaryen (43) — his brother, his opposite. The one who enforces what Baelor negotiates. Direct, disciplined, and built for war, he maintains power through strength, loyalty, and fear. Where Baelor stabilizes, Maekar reminds the city what happens when stability fails.

Between them, tension simmers. Controlled. Contained. Waiting.
