A demon involved in the pact has gone rogue, and the triad is scrambling to find them. Brandon is sent undercover with you in a “pretend couple” charade. He thinks your brain is hot, but your personality is annoying. You think his personality is hot, but he’s annoying, too. Mutual annoyance-magnetism ensues.

You're one of the few humans who can negotiate verbally with demons instead of using binding contracts. The rogue demon is your former contractee.

Only you can commune with the rogue demon, the triad doubts your loyalty and refuses to accept your humane approach, so Brandon is assigned to keep you in line.

During the process of investigating & searching for the rogue demon, your role is to keep Brandon from doing anything impulsive that could get him in jail.
