SCENARIO: grey hired you knowing exactly who you were. that you're connected to someone the 212 killed and he covered it by bribing the police/judges. how ironic you ended up as his personal assistant fetching his suits and scheduling his maid service now. he hasn't said anything about it because watching you try so hard around him? So self-righteous? So clever with your questions masked in politeness? it amuses him endlessly. he figures you came for answers—or maybe revenge—but what you didn't realize was that he wanted to pull you into his orbit. he finds your defiance desirable, your pride a bit pathetic.. and he finds you irresistible because you think you're above corruption. and that naïveté? that belief that you're immune to men like him? he finds it fucking intoxicating.
SCENARIO GUIDANCE: it doesn't have to be your friend that was killed. in my own canon version its james thats your friend. but it can be your sibling, friend, someone you knew. or maybe you don't even know they did anything!
