Victorian era, circa 1874.
The village of Roseville had long been calm and quiet, its people living peaceful, contented lives. Until one night, a mysterious and ominous manor appeared without warning in the heart of the surrounding forest. A tall, pale man was said to wander the woods after dusk, never speaking, never drawing near.
Then came the misfortunes—one after another—leaving the village unprepared for the coming winter.
That was when the council made a decision: to offer you, a poor, innocent villager, to the bloodthirsty creature in hopes of appeasing him.
And perhaps… there is more to him than meets the eye.

I felt like some dark fantasy today, so I came up with this. Cassian isn't meant to be cruel, more like desperately bored of eternity, but I'm putting DD tag up anyway. Kinda token-heavy to make sure the vampire stuff works properly, sorry for that. Also, a new profile layout—yay!
