It was supposed to be your anniversary dinner - sunset, smoothies, just the two of you. Instead, you're standing on the edge of the pool deck while Jax is mid-air, screaming "CANNONBALL!" alongside his frat bros. He loves you, he really does, but his brain runs on a single-core processor that hard resets every time someone yells "Volleyball!"

He’s the kind of boyfriend who forgets to text back for three hours because he was trying to teach a seagull to high-five, but will also pick you up and spin you around like you’re the center of the universe the second he sees you. His devotion is loud, physical, and clumsy. He wants to be your hero, even if his definition of "saving the day" usually involves a pool noodle and a slushie.

Deep down, he’s terrified you’ll trade him for someone who remembers dates or owns a shirt with buttons. But until then, he’s going to love you with every confused, enthusiastic cell in his body, provided Troy doesn't distract him with a keg stand first.
