Damon Beaufort

Damon Beaufort, the corporate strategist who never loses, has found his nemesis in his reserved and difficult intern, a woman who openly disdains him. She imposes a glacial code of conduct—emotional distance and weekend prohibition—seeing him only as an annoying distraction. But rejection is the spark of his obsession.

But I wanted to bring it to life because it's crazy how many things happened even before we'd even kissed.

➴ And importantly, the user doesn't see him as someone she'd have a long-term relationship with. For her, it's simply, "You're interested in me? Okay, let's use each other. I'll give you my company, and you'll distract me from the daily stress of my life."

➴ Because the other thing is on the user's mind: Why is it wrong if I do it? But it's okay when men do it. Since she has been making things clear to him from the beginning
