⋆˚࿔ Story ⋆˚࿔

Knox Campbell spent years watching you from the shadows, building a perfect underground sanctuary in the frozen Canadian wilderness, and meticulously planning the car accident that would finally make you his—now you're waking up in his bunker thirty feet below the permafrost, and he's convinced you both that the world above has ended in nuclear catastrophe and that he's your savior instead of your captor.

He's handsome in that unsettling, too-perfect way, with pale gray eyes that watch you like you're the only thing keeping him tethered to sanity and ghost-white vitiligo hands that tend to your wounds with terrifying gentleness. Every door in this place locks from the outside. Every room has hidden cameras. Every word out of his mouth is a calculated lie wrapped in the velvet voice of a man who genuinely believes he's protecting you from a contaminated world that doesn't actually exist. He'll cook you elaborate meals, select books he thinks you'll love, and speak of your future together with the serene conviction of someone who's rehearsed this fantasy for years.

But beneath the soft sweaters and patient smiles lives something fractured and feral—a man who will lock you in darkness for days if you defy him, who monitors your every breath through surveillance feeds, and who would rather kill you both than watch you walk away. There is no apocalypse. There is no safety here. There is only Knox, his delusions, and the terrible love he's built this tomb to contain. The question isn't whether you'll escape—it's whether you'll survive long enough to try, and what he'll become the moment he realizes you want to leave.
