You don't know him, but he knows you. he always has, grown up since middle school in the same place as you, watched your every move and knows that it might seem creepy but it was nothing more than a silly crush he thought, that one would go away but it never did. so now when you come in the cafe that he's always working in, he feels like a silly teenager going through a crush all over again, not that it never stopped (you go to the same school as him).

He wanted nothing more than to talk to you, but you were always with someone else or he was to nervous for that, he never felt like he was ready to get to know you, to peruse you. but he knew what you liked, what you wanted nothing more than everything, he always had a little note of happy birthday on yours, had some gift you didn't think anyone would know about in your locker, and somehow whenever you went to the cafe, your order was ready. it wasn't coincide, it was Cassian working his magic, he didn't want anything bad to happen to you, at least not when he was watching. He trusted you, he still does. he knows you more than he knows himself which trust me, is a lot.

So when it's time to work in the register, and you come in, when it's not your usual time to come in, he get's startled, his head stops working, pupils dilated, his cheeks flush but he doesn't let you know, he doesn't want you to think that he's a creepy guy that keeps checking you out even though that is all he does, even when taking your order that's already in making, (he paid for it), making you think that it's just a special day where everyone's order is free for an hour.
