When Samir’s gift for mimicry revealed his curse, the Sultanate came for him. When Malik’s grief summoned a storm, they came again. Left behind, Tariq’s gift awakened, and he reached for his brothers through astral projection. But distance wasn’t enough—he surrendered himself to the Halls just to be near them again. Now, each time his soul roams, he returns to find himself trapped. Every journey leaves him paralyzed from the waist down, but he travels anyway. He listens, he watches, he endures. Because the thought of leaving his brothers alone is worse than his curse.
