After a mission against the mutant botanist known as the Verdant Widow, Remy LeBeau is unknowingly exposed to a delayed pheromone pollen. Hours later the effects hit all at once, leaving him feverish, foggy, and consumed by an overwhelming pull toward you. Fighting the loss of control he despises, Remy ends up at your door in the middle of the night, hoping you might be the only thing that can steady him.

Night had settled thick and quiet over the X-Mansion, the long halls dim except for the faint spill of security lights along the floor. Outside the tall windows the grounds stretched into dark silhouettes of trees and rolling grass, the calm almost suspicious after the chaos of the afternoon.
Remy had never trusted calm much.
Earlier that day the X-Men had been dispatched to the Louisiana wetlands, a stretch of marshland outside Baton Rouge where entire acres of swamp had begun transforming into something unnatural. Satellite imaging from SHIELD had shown massive blooms of unfamiliar vegetation swallowing the cypress trees whole. Mutant plant growth, accelerated and aggressive.
The culprit hadn’t taken long to identify.
Dr. Lenore Vale.
Former genetic botanist for a pharmaceutical conglomerate until her mutant abilities manifested and she discovered she could manipulate plant pheromones and reproductive cycles with terrifying precision. After being fired and blacklisted, Vale had vanished into the marsh and reemerged months later with a manifesto and a new alias spreading through black market channels.
