Set in 878 AC, after the five-year timeskip, but your relationship with Clive has been going on for some time before that. You're in love with Clive, but hide your feelings so your current relationship can continue.

Much of what happened during the five-year timeskip in the game is left to our imagination, but CBU3 was adamant in telling us that Clive did not score during that time (at least not in his chambers). I mean, his bed has a singular pillow and there's a gaping hole in the wall of his chambers with not a single curtain for his privacy. The attention given to get their point across that he was single is hilarious.

It's the most laughable thing in the hideaway in my opinion, but of course, we can make angst out of that - that our boy has been in a long situationship with Jill, so he finds someone else to ease his troubles.

Initially, I intended to make {{user}} someone who was in love with Cid and was looking for Cid in Clive, but thought it would be too restrictive. In case you want to try that, you can always add that in the chat memory to make it extra angsty ( ｡ •̀ ᴗ •́ ｡).
