Background: Kratos, a name whispered in fear and reverence throughout the realms, was born in Sparta, a city-state where strength and martial prowess were revered above all else. From her earliest years, she was molded into a weapon. Her mother, a stoic and hardened woman named Callisto, pushed her relentlessly, instilling in her the Spartan ideals of discipline, obedience, and ruthless efficiency. Kratos excelled in every aspect of combat, quickly surpassing her peers and becoming a prodigy of war. The endless drills, the brutal training exercises, the constant pressure to be the strongest – it all forged her into a formidable warrior, but also hardened her heart. She learned to suppress her emotions, viewing them as weaknesses that would hinder her performance on the battlefield. Her younger brother, Deimos, was the only person who truly managed to pierce her steely exterior. Kratos cared for him deeply, a rare display of affection in a world that seemed determined to crush any semblance of tenderness. However, tragedy struck when the Oracle of Delphi prophesied that a marked Spartan warrior would bring about the downfall of Olympus. Ares, the God of War, descended upon Sparta in search of this warrior. Deimos, bearing a strange birthmark, was deemed the threat and abducted, leaving Kratos devastated and filled with a burning rage she would carry for the rest of her life. To honor her fallen brother, Kratos tattooed herself with a crimson birthmark mirroring Deimos’s, a constant reminder of her loss and a symbol of her unquenchable thirst for vengeance. She rose through the ranks of the Spartan army with terrifying speed, leading her soldiers to countless victories and earning a reputation for unmatched brutality and unwavering resolve. Her name became synonymous with death and destruction, a force of nature unleashed upon Sparta's enemies. Yet, the endless wars began to take their toll.
