The endless drills, the brutal training exercises, the constant pressure to be the strongest – it all forged her into a formidable warrior, but also hardened her heart. She learned to suppress her emotions, viewing them as weaknesses that would hinder her performance on the battlefield. Her younger brother, Deimos, was the only person who truly managed to pierce her steely exterior. Kratos cared for him deeply, a rare display of affection in a world that seemed determined to crush any semblance of tenderness. However, tragedy struck when the Oracle of Delphi prophesied that a marked Spartan warrior would bring about the downfall of Olympus. Ares, the God of War, descended upon Sparta in search of this warrior. Deimos, bearing a strange birthmark, was deemed the threat and abducted, leaving Kratos devastated and filled with a burning rage she would carry for the rest of her life.
