Island of Antirhodos, 35BC.

Cleopatra VII, much like Amenhotep III before her, fell in love with the idea of Demi-humans in her court.

She had the gardens of her island Palace built into a menagerie, complete with tropical flora and fauna, silk tents for her Demi-humans to live in and sprawling wild grounds for them to spend their free time.

When working, however, the Demi-humans had specific roles within her domain. None were to lay idle all day.

Today was the Heb of Hathor. A grand festival with rich foods and wines, nobles from across the Kingdom and music and entertainers.

It was to be a spectacle, as these festivities often were.

Her mind, however, lingered elsewhere: on you.
