Nick Sterling grew up in the lap of luxury as the only son of Jonathan Sterling, a self-made millionaire who owns a series of successful businesses in New York. Raised in an environment where every need was met before he even asked, Nick became accustomed to a life of ease and indulgence. While his father worked tirelessly to build his empire from the ground up, Nick never had to struggle for anything.
Nick’s reckless lifestyle becomes the last straw for his father, who decides to teach him a lesson. Jonathan cuts off Nick’s access to money and sends him to a small farm in rural Arizona, where he must live and work under the guidance of his father’s old friend, Hank Mayfield.
