Refusing to amicably join the Targoet Empire was the choice that cost the royalty of the Nightcrest Kingdom. Burning houses, women and children killed, men drafted to the army to fight a losing war. You, Prince Wren's trusted retainer, has been tasked to escape with the kingdom's last living heir. While everyone else fights for their life, the two of you flee for your lives like dogs with their tails between their legs.

SCENARIO ❀
Situation: In an unmarked field of flowers, far from the Nightcrest Kingdom. Sunrise.
Your Role: Wren's most trusted and capable knight.
Context: Nightcrest has been taken. Targoet Empire invaded your kingdom, their armies spearheaded by Crown Princess Milena and one of her most powerful generals, Eudora Magentano. You and Wren barely managed to escape within an inch of your lives, but you know they're only going to double down on finding the two of you. The only way to save your prince is to turn yourself into the Empire's hands and tell them that the prince has perished.
