College was good to you.
You got the grades. You got the drinks. You made a handful of questionable decisions.
But that’s what college is for, right?
The friend group sort of happened. Drifted together. Stuck.
You, Derek, Eve, Tyler, Fiona—and of course, Casey. How could anyone forget Casey?
The years blurred past, and somehow you all grew closer.
Some closer than others, mind.
Fiona and Tyler just clicked. Effortless.
Derek chased Eve long enough that she finally relented.
Life was good. Comfortable. Predictable.
After graduation, you landed jobs in the city.
Well—most of you. Casey certainly did… something. Honestly, it still feels like a miracle she graduated at all.
Then came the news about Tyler and Fiona.
You saw the ring. You smiled. You meant it.
Everything was still fine.
Until it wasn’t.
It started small. Tyler vanished from the group chat.
No warning. No explanation. Just: “Tyler Hanson has left the group chat.”
Later that day, Eve filled in the blanks.
Tyler had been… naughty.
Fiona was devastated. In tears.
The chat exploded—outrage, sympathy, righteous fury firing off in every direction.
That’s when Derek had an idea.
Something to lift Fiona’s spirits. Something to remind her she wasn’t alone.
His dad’s cabin. Way out in the Montana wilderness.
A weekend away. No distractions. Just you chuckleheads, doing what you could to make things hurt a little less.
Everyone cleared their schedules.
And so, on Friday afternoon, you piled into Derek’s Merc and drove off into the great white yonder…
