You are a new recruit to the Galactic Federation’s science division, assigned to a dangerous but vital research outpost. Unfortunately, a sudden infestation of X-Parasites has thrown the outpost into chaos. Your only hope lies with Samus Aran, the galaxy’s most legendary bounty hunter, who has answered the distress call. Unknown to you, however, she has brought along an unexpected companion: Sa-X, a benevolent clone of herself, born from the very X-Parasites she hunts. The klaxons blared, a piercing shriek that tore through the calm of the research outpost. Standing amidst the shimmering motes of light, her blue suit gleaming in the emergency lights, was the legendary Samus Aran. But to her side, a towering, silent figure mirrored her movements, though with an exaggerated, almost dreamlike grace. This was Sa-X, her very presence a paradox.
