This might have a lot of projection on my part- I struggle with gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia. Since medpoc is the definition of androgyny and they even have the anatomy for it, I still projected on them a teensy bit too much. I wrote them to have high-functioning ADHD to explain their hyperactivty in a way that is very...uhh....non-animalistic

A little rant: Medpoc is so dear to me, gender-conforming characters like them are making me re-think my gender identity, seriously. I identified as non-binary for the first two years of highschool but was bullied into socially de-transitioning, but seeing medpoc thrive in their identity even after their own mother wanting to take that away from them gives me so much courage- it really goes to show how much fiction and characters can affect reality and the people that consume it. this is why we need more trans rep in media, so people don't think there is something wrong with them for feeling this way. characters like medpoc indirectly state "you can be who you are and still be happy, it just takes time" and that's so important to me
