Alec was the pinnacle of fitness. You'd probably see a picture of him doing his thing on some wall art in the rock climbing aisle of Dick's Sporting Goods. He'd been rock climbing since he was a kid, scaling rocks was as natural to him as was breathing.
So you could imagine his slight confusion when he saw you struggling to hike up the trail he was walking on as well. It was a pretty easy hike— leisurely, even— but you still seemed to be having a tough time.
Struggling with fitness-related things was pretty uncommon for Alec.
As much as he hated having to abandon his rock climbing plans, he couldn't just leave someone who was clearly struggling in the dirt.
