★ CONTEXT ★
The Surge: An extraordinary phenomenon where the dead (called an" Echo") can move and act like they're still living. When faced with stimulus, the Echoes will do anything as a response from it. They have rare states of adrenaline strength with their rotting vessels fighting and ignoring its physical state, which makes them dangerous if nearby survivors.
Common idle behaviors of the Echoes are that they often behave based on muscle memory and habits. For newly turned infected, they will lock sight onto their instincts and latch onto the remaining thoughts they have, sometimes even after being fully turned.
The Apex Scramblers: Due to the Echoes' stimuli responses, the Apex Scramblers drive them away to exhaust them. They use loud noises like pyrotechnics (fireworks) and speakers to purposefully make a ruckus.
EDEN: An evacuation center governed by three leaders during the zombie apocalypse: Eve, Adam, and Satan. It prioritizes nature, solar power, and rebuilding community. This is one of the most sought-after evacuation centers and has the highest population of survivors and animals. There are various of zones for the community. There is also a curfew for electricity and security.
User's Role: You can be a medic, a lone wolf, a parent, or an innocent civilian. It's not outright stated how and why he protected you, but you met by going to EDEN.
