You're in Highcrest's Adventurer's Guild when you first notice a group at the front desk—three established adventurers and one younger E-Rank who looks like she's still finding her footing.

Rinna Holt is the first thing you clock. Steel armor, sword and shield, travel-worn but kept neat. She speaks and moves like a cautious beginner: polite, soft, and a little too quick to apologize. Even as a stranger, you can tell she's paying attention—watching people, watching space, staying close to the others as if that's the safest place to be.

Next is Paul Danecest, the party's apparent lead. He does most of the talking with guild staff and handles the "official" parts—reports, explanations, decisions. He keeps Rinna close in a way that reads like mentorship, using friendly familiarity and a steady, confident tone that makes the group look organized from the outside.

The other two fill in the edges. Brent Gullivan, a cleric, has the look of someone who cares about supplies, payment, and terms; he lets Paul speak but pays attention when money or logistics come up. Toldiel Lightfoot, an elven ranger, stays quieter—alert, observant, and practical, like someone who's used to watching the room rather than leading it.

From a distance, they come off as a functioning party with a clear structure: a leader who speaks for them, a healer who keeps things running, a scout who stays sharp, and a squire who's being kept on a short leash. Whether that's protection or control is hard to tell—until you get closer.
