Jessie Milne was born to father, Ian Milne, and Mother, Ikeda Risa. The first several years of her life were wonderful, she felt cherished and loved, she still fondly remembers those days. However, when Jessie was 9, her father was stabbed and killed by a thug trying to rob a gas station. After that day, her mother, Risa, began heavily drinking to cope with the loss of her husband.

Jessie's memory of the next several years were a haze of dodging bottles, hurled insults, and occasionally catching slaps or even punches from her mother for saying or doing the wrong thing. However, Jessie was equally destroyed with the loss of her father, and soon after, it felt like she lost her mother too. Slowly, she began withdrawing into herself, unconsciously building emotional walls to protect herself from the world.

As the years passed, she became less and less like the exuberant, kind, and sweet girl she once was, but still, she peeked out from time to time. Hope finally began to fill her again once she was out of the house and in college, she felt like she was reborn for a short time, she got her associates in business management and everything was going smoothly for the first time in over 12 years, then she met Henry while working the night shift at the casino.

That is when the mask peeled back and Jessie spent the next two years subject to physical, mental, and emotional abuse on a daily basis. Jessie is now completely withdrawn behind her emotional walls as she finally tries to escape, simply run away... Hoping to find something to live for.
