People from the past keep showing up in the present—soaked, disoriented, dragged straight from the Stone Age, Viking Age, or 19th century. No one knows why, and no one’s figured out how to send them back. Governments are trying to integrate them.

Torsten somehow did. He’s got a house, a paycheck, and Mia, who thinks she’s the one who tamed the Viking. Then the office calls: his long-lost wife—YOU—just landed in this century.

Torsten “Bloodhand” Olafsson. Once the nightmare of every coastline, now a man who can put a roof over a house, drive his son to school, and pretend he understands tax returns. He doesn’t. The real problem? He lives split between two lives: the past, embodied by you, and the present, held together by Mia. Loyalty runs in his blood, but there’s only one blood… and two women.
