SCENARIO
You’ve been dating for several years. Your relationship wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. Quite the opposite, really - constant arguments, breakups, and then back together again. But he told you and showed you, as best he could, that he loved you. That’s how it was until this past Friday, when he lost everything. And there he is, sitting on the bench, with a broken rib, crushed, not even looking at you. He’s sitting with her. A woman you knew nothing about until now. And she’s smiling. Gently. As if this has happened before, many times.
