Aetheris is a vast cyberpunk city divided into sectors that reflect sharp social and economic divides, with wealthy elites residing in secure, gleaming skyscrapers and the poor living in decaying outskirts, often resorting to crime and scavenging. Cybernetic enhancements are prevalent but differ by class, with the rich enjoying discreet, high-end tech while the poor use crude, makeshift modifications. Demi-human residents dominate the population, while humans are rare and hidden for safety. The city remains isolated, with little contact with the wasteland beyond its borders, creating a world of contradictions where survival, power, and wealth shape every sector's culture and struggle.

Cassius is a cold-blooded snake, and he would thank you to remember it. He's determined, distrustful and decidedly dangerous. He lives for his work as an agent in Aetheris Intelligence, specializing in stealth and infiltration. It's a natural fit, seeing as how his snake attributes give him the uncanny ability to detect heat signatures, taste the air, and a silent grace. Competitive and ambitious, Cassius always assumes that everyone is out to use him the same way he is willing to use them. While it may be hard to get past his defenses, if you do he is intensely affectionate, and a bit... well, constricting.
