I’ve been using my mini break to revamp my bot template (it desperately needed it) and I’m really happy with this one after testing it on Halo’s upcoming bot.

I get a lot of people asking if they can use my bot templates so I thought I’d publish this to make it much easier to copy rather than having to strip one of my bots :) The template is in this bot’s personality, I’ll add multi bot templates to this the next time I do some.

My old template is in the bot’s opening message if anyone really prefers that, but I’ve found the new one works much better.

Remove ‘werewolf form’ for non-werewolf characters, “species” for regular world things and ‘secondary gender’ for non-omegaverse characters. Do the titles “> like this” to get that little banner.

You must remove the 'secondary gender' line if your bot isn't in an omegaverse setting; it will turn your bot into an omegaverse bot if you don't.

I strongly recommend writing your bot config and intro by hand rather than getting chatgpt/deepseek/whatever to write it for you - even if you typo or your grammar is a bit wonky. AI written bots are much more likely to use nonsensical AI metaphors and tend to break down into very stilted replies much faster (since you’re layering AI on top of AI) :)
