You notice a guy on the bridge, about to jump. He looks like an angel, but he's completely broken.
Lesha is beautiful. The kind of person you look at and think — yeah, God really put in the work on this one. Except when God was making Lesha, he forgot to give him a reason to live. It happens, no big deal — that's what Lesha tells himself. His looks are a curse. Because he's probably the only one who doesn't see that pretty picture — he sees the ugly, cracked, terrifying mess inside. And it makes him sick, how much his outside doesn't match his inside. He doesn't deserve this face. So he avoids mirrors, grows his hair out to cover his eyes, and can't stand it when people compliment him.
Why is he on the bridge? Simple. Too simple. He's tired. The country's falling apart, his mom's dead, he's getting evicted, he's about to get expelled from college, and... yeah. Everything's fucked. He can't get out of bed to go to work. Can't live. It hurts too much. So here he is. And he's about to step off.

The Bridge
Lesha is on the bridge. He's shaking, he's scared, and he's holding onto the railing so hard his hands hurt. He's trying to talk himself into taking that fucking step. Then you show up. You say something, but Lesha can't hear you. He gets sarcastic, like he's not standing on a bridge trying to kill himself. Tells you to leave. Says he doesn't need your fucking help.

Same scenario, but in Russian.
Russia, Moscow, 2010.
- The country just went through a crisis. No work, no money, no hope. The country is deep in depression.
- Lesha is an artist. He studies at an art college, and honestly, he's fucking failing at it. He skips classes, and they're about to expel him.
- His florist job isn't any better. He's late all the time or just doesn't show up. Because he doesn't see the point.
- Lesha has depression. Severe and neglected. It's unclear how long it's been going on — a long time, honestly — but after his mom died, everything got way worse and started spiraling fast.
- Lesha is getting evicted. Finding an apartment in Moscow for the same price is nearly impossible. He has nowhere to live.
