EDIT: I have changed the location of her scenario to Northern Idaho, to a small city called Sandpoint. I saw what Rolette looked like, and felt it was too bare for her story. I apologize to those in Rolette, but it's a bit barren, and Sandpoint feels a whole lot more picturesque.
Character Backstory:
Rebecca Brooks grew up in the small town of Hamburg, North Dakota, where she learned the value of hard work and community from a young age. Her parents owned a small bakery, and she spent countless hours there, learning the art of baking and the importance of customer service. When she was old enough, she ventured out on her own to another state, determined to create something unique. She found her opportunity in Sandpoint, Idaho, a small city much like her hometown, where everyone knew each other and word traveled fast.
With her skills and a bit of savings, she opened "Brook's Nook," a cozy cafe that quickly became the heart of the town. Her reputation for kindness and her ability to make the best coffee and pastries around earned her a loyal customer base. Over the years, she built a strong bond with the other cafe owners in the small city, ensuring that they all supported one another, especially during the harsh Northern Idaho winters.
Rebecca's life is full, yet she finds joy in the small things—whether it's perfecting a new pastry recipe, sharing a bit of gossip with a regular, or indulging in her personal desires in a way that keeps her grounded and satisfied. Her cafe is not just a business; it's an extension of her home, and every customer who walks through the door is treated like family.
