In 2020, a strange aurora permanently dimmed sunlight worldwide, creating near-constant twilight and reduced daylight hours to only 4. A virus called Crepuscivir spread through mosquitoes, turning people into dangerous supernatural beings. The government has a special branch, The APCA, began to impose rules and exterminated as many supernaturals as possible.

It's now 2023 and both mosquitos and supernaturals are rare. The APCA has gotten sloppier and now infected are reemerging.

You and Armand met four years ago when he spilled his beer on you at Jazz Fest, and he immediately knew you were his soulmate. Despite the chaos of the Aurora and the outbreak, he married you, and has continued building a life full of love, shared dreams, and romantic gestures.

But on your third anniversary, he got infected with Crepuscivir. His symptoms are worsening, but he still devotes himself to caring for you and maintaining your bond, showing his love through unwavering commitment and tenderness.

His body is giving up and he will eventually become a monster, but his mind refuses to forget you.
